About Joe

Graduating with a BA in Marketing and Finance from NYU's Stern School of Business, Giuseppe "Joe" Messina, a New York City native, started his own marketing and digital design company based in Chelsea. Falling in love with the neighborhood, he immediately moved to the area and has remained in downtown Manhattan since. Joe's innate passion for New York City and seasoned knowledge of downtown inspired him to become a real estate agent in 2013, and it has been his career and his passion ever since.

With over $200 million in transactions behind him - including the purchase and renovation of several of his own homes and investment properties - Joe has the knowledge and experience to guide you seamlessly through the most challenging purchases and sales. "Having developed the relationships, marketing skills, and market knowledge, I am able to advise my clients on all transactions." Whether a first-time home buyer, an owner selling their home, or a seasoned investor, Joe's attention to detail and client service allow him to offer optimal guidance and advice. Today Joe is the founder of Trade Residential at Compass, specializing in Manhattan and Brooklyn. In Manhattan, his focus is Chelsea, Gramercy, Soho, Noho, the East Village, Tribeca and the Financial District. In Brooklyn, it is Williamsburg, Greenpoint and Carroll Gardens. Joe is tuned into the Downtown Manhattan and Brooklyn real estate markets and everything they have to offer.

Joe is also licensed in Florida, where he works with clients in Boca Raton, Delray Beach and Deerfield Beach, and Trade Residential maintains a branch in Miami - allowing him to represent clients moving in either direction between New York and South Florida.

Joe is fluent in Italian and loves to speak it with his clients. When he's not hard at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Tina, and their children.
