Real estate is a crazy industry, and it comes with the wildest stories.

Everyone is interested in it, because everyone wants to own something. It's the American dream! They make movies about it and write books about it. There are college courses, coaching programs and a whole lineup of reality shows built around it. It's quite literally what our economy runs on.

But the version you see on TV is made for TV. The staged homes, the perfect reveals, the big dramatic closings. Real life looks different. Real estate is not always glamorous, and it is never smooth. It comes with some of the craziest clients, the tightest deadlines and the kind of stories you couldn't script if you tried.

So think of this blog as a real reality show, just in written form. The ups and the downs. The deals that come together and the ones that fall apart at the last minute. The stories, the thoughts and the emotions that come with helping people through one of the biggest decisions of their lives.
